CHARLOTTE ARLENE FAY SOOST (née SMITH) December 26, 1937 - February 1, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charlotte Soost (Wife, Mother, Grandmother) on Thursday, February 1, 2018 in Calgary, AB. Charlotte will be forever remembered and loved by her devoted husband Gary of 57 years, and her treasured sons, Kurt (Evelyn) and Richard (Krysta). She was predeceased by her amazing daughter Corinne. Charlotte will also be greatly missed by her five grandchildren (Cole, Joelle, Cassyn, Jessa and Xander). Her son-in-law Warren (Lisa) will also miss the opportunities to get together with Mom. Charlotte was born in Winnipeg and spent the majority of her life in this city. She spent her weekends during the summer months at Camp Neustadt on Lake Winnipeg. Charlotte moved to Calgary in 2005 to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She loved her family above all else, and enjoyed spending the cold winter months in Yuma, Arizona where she had many friends. She also loved playing cards, keeping a nice garden, volunteering at senior centres, and going for walks. We know she is in Heaven with Jesus and her beloved daughter, Corinne. We will miss you immensely, but know you are in a better place, and your suffering on earth has come to an end. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and other caregivers at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary for all their care and support. In keeping with Charlotte's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service has been held.
