Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON ALLEN SUMNER A beautiful heart stopped beating on January 26, 2018. My only brother went on his journey to the Spirit world. My late mom and stepdad, Rose and George Sumner adopted Gordon when he was eight months old. It is important to recognize the people who raised him as his own. We moved from Little Saskatchewan Reserve in 1957. Gord resided in Winnipeg until his passing. He called me Sis or Hatts. He had an infectious smile and brought so much love to our families . He told me not that long ago, "Life is to short". Gord loved life, his family and people. I felt compelled to share a little about my brother's life. We owed him that. One regret, I wish I would have told him more often, "I love you".
