CECIL HOPKO 1934 - 2018 With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Cecil Hopko on February 11, 2018, at Fred Douglas Lodge, at the age of 84. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Doris Hopko. Cecil will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Helen, daughter Diane (Gary and his sons, Rhys and Mike), son Kevin (Eva), his brother Gordon, as well as cousins, nieces, nephew, extended family and friends. Cecil educated many children in his 31 years of teaching. He also farmed and was capable of fixing everything. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2018, at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. Interment and reception to follow. Special thanks to the caring staff at Fred Douglas Lodge, and also to our family and friends for all of their compassion and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Cecil's name to the 4-H Club, Box 296, Balmoral, MB R0C 0H0.
