CHARLOTTE JEAN LOISELLE (nee JUSKON) She entered this world September 21, 1942 and sadly on Friday, February 9, 2018, at Riverview Health Centre, Charlotte or Tudy as family knew her passed after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Her husband of 38 years, Robert was at her side and will deeply miss her. Besides Robert, Charlotte is survived by her mother Jean Juskon; her son John David (Pep) Flatt, his daughter Candice Shier and son Dalton Flatt; Charlotte's daughter Darby Jill (Dubby) Flatt, partner Kevin Orchard, Darby's son Joshua Doel; her sister Sandra (Garth) Cooley, and three nieces and spouses. Predeceased by her father Charles Juskon. Charlotte was a hard working, fun loving person who gave her all whether it was bringing up her children, at work, or when entertaining. Family always looked forward to Charlotte's dinners as they always left with full stomachs and doggy bags. She worked for 19 and a half years at Westroc Industries. When downsized she found new employment with Corrections Canada at Rockwood and Stony Mountain. There her bubbly personality made many friends and was a trusted employee. She and Robert travelled extensively enjoying cruises with family and friends. Her most memorable trip was to Rome in 1988 as part of a group of eight who participated in Mass celebrated by Pope John Paul II in his chapel at the Vatican, a private audience followed and will never be forgotten. She was always there when someone needed help and enjoyed tending her gardens. Many friends received bounty from Charlotte's vegetable garden. She left an indelible mark on us all. The family thanks the staff of the Palliative Care unit at Riverview Health Centre, the Oncology Departments of St. Boniface and Victoria Hospitals for their care and love. Prayer service for Charlotte will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Dr., Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, February 16, 2018, 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment at St. Boniface cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Charlotte to CancerCare Manitoba or Riverview Health Centre Foundation, One Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4.
