Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET INA CARDINAL (nee CRAIB) Peacefully, with family by her side, Violet Ina Cardinal (nee Craib), born April 29, 1929 in Roblin, Manitoba, passed away on February 5, 2018. Violet was predeceased by her loving husband Maurice in 2008. Remaining to forever hold her in their hearts are her four children, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her brothers and sister and their families. Violet was strong willed with incredible integrity and generosity. She was hard working and devoted to her family and God. A private memorial service was held in Milton, Ontario where she had chosen to live with her daughter Maureen. Violet was laid to rest beside Maurice in Winnipeg at a private service as they wished. "Remember me in your heart and live without regret"

Sorry to read about the passing of your mother. I grew up across the street from Moe and Vi on Hindley Ave, and I have so many fond memories of both of them and their family! Vi was a very pleasant, caring, and classy lady! My wife and I were honoured to have them attend our wedding in 1971. We met throughout the years at various occasions, and it was always a pleasure to chat and share news about our families. Deepest condolences to her family.
