VALERIE GAYE KIRBY (DUTKIEWICH) With heavy hearts the family announces Valerie's passing on February 5, 2018. Valerie will be greatly missed by her mother Violet, husband Budd, sister Gloria, and brothers Ralph and Keith, as well as her beloved nieces Jami, Erin, Chelsea and Carley, and nephews Nikolas and Alex. Valerie was a kind, generous, loving, vibrant person. She had a deep love for her family and her animals. After Valerie's retirement, her hobby farm was home to a menagerie of animals. From horses to chickens and many in between, but her cats remained #1. Some of her happiest days were spent hosting Family BBQ's, spending time with the people she loved. Her nieces and nephews were all very special to Valerie. They all enjoyed the escorted walks to the barn, feeding the horse or whatever other livestock resided there. Aunty Valerie's Easter Egg Hunt was always a favourite for them, or a simple walk through the pasture picking wild flowers. Valerie cherished these times. We all love her and miss her dearly. Anyone so wishing can make a contribution n her memory to: Pawed Pals Animal Rescue, Selkirk, MB.
