Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY MARTINUK (nee HUMENIUK) With heavy hearts we grieve the loss of our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Mary Martinuk on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the age of 93 years. Left to cherish Mary's memory are her sons, George (Fran), Robert and Tim (Beth); 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She has joined her loving husband Jim; son Jim and daughter Kathy. Mary was an active member in both the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Ukrainian CDN Veterans Branch 141 and St. James Branch 4. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 23. Mom enjoyed being with her friends in both organizations. Holding executive positions in both organizations and helping contribute to the Winnipeg community. A funeral service celebrating Mary's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018 in Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 390 Marion Street, Winnipeg, MB. There will be a small luncheon after in the church basement. The church is wheelchair and walker friendly. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Mary's name may be made to either the Legion Poppy Fund or Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church.
