Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySAMUEL MORGAN May 31, 1954 - February 11, 2018 It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Samuel Lloyd Morgan on Sunday, February 11, 2018. Sam is predeceased by his parents, Fred and Patricia, sister Sandy, brother Wayne, sister-in-law Chris, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Eileen Fernie. Sam leaves to mourn his wife of 40 years, Sharon (Fernie), and his two sons, Jesse and Sean, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Zackery, Alexandra, Nevaeh, and Jayden. They energized Sam and filled him with joy. Sam also leaves to mourn his two sisters, Christine (Mike), Heather (Murray) and his brother Bill (Julie), sisters and brothers-in-law, Lynn and Terry, Allison and Ian, Susan and Wayne, Rob and Velvet, Ken, and all his nieces and nephews. Sam fulfilled his wish to live at the cottage where he loved the outdoors. He loved to sit by the bonfire telling stories to anyone who joined him there. Sam had a great sense of humour and wit that will be missed by all who knew him. Sam loved his group of "cheerleaders" who supported him through his illness. They were Maria, Tetyana, Syd, Lovie, and Eileen. Respecting Sam's wishes, there will be no formal service, but a private family interment at a later date. "Rest in fields of green grass... Lead me to streams of peaceful water." Donations may be made in Sam's memory to the Bruce Oake Memorial Fund, PO Box 61084, Grant Park, Winnipeg, MB R3M3K8.

Good old Sam. Always greeted you as if you were never away. A good friend. Sorry to here about his time being so short. I figured he would be lucky enough to outlive us all. But, as Faulkner said in his book " This world is not his world, this life his life." Good bye, old friend. - Posted by: John W Ferguson () on: Feb 20, 2018
