Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGAIL GINTER (nee SCHAFER) February 7, 1941 - February 9, 2018 Sadly, Gail passed away at St. Boniface Hospital after a long illness. She will be greatly missed by husband Wally; sons, Sean (Rose), Darren (Nin) and Dean; many grandsons; sisters, Doreen, Elaine Orr (Mel); nephew Moksha (Frejya) and brother Gary, many cousins and close friends. Family meant everything to Gail. She and Wally raised three fine sons and, as Oma and Opa, loved to babysit, skype and visit the grandsons. Cremation has taken place. At her request there is no formal service. In lieu of flowers, donations may go to Canadian Diabetes Association or a local animal shelter.

Gail was my friend as a young girl and young adult. She was my bridesmaid 59 years ago. She was always kind, caring and fun. We grew apart when we were busy raising our children, but she will always remain in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
