OLIVE (OLLIE) MARGARET STRANGER September 2, 1934 February 16, 2018 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, aunt and dear friend, Olive 'Ollie' Margaret Stranger, on February 16, 2018, at the age of 83. Ollie will be dearly missed by her sisters, Annabelle, Jeanette and Katherine; and brother Dennis, her many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Ollie was predeceased by parents, Solomon and Annabella; sisters, Betty and Nellie May; brothers, Leslie, Frank, Melvin, Roderick, Earl, David, Freeman, Jim, Ernest, Winston and Franklin. Ollie was a talented artist and enjoyed sharing her love of art with her nieces and nephews. She spent many afternoons working on her mural on the Gimli Seawall Gallery, which was a beautiful display of her love of art and horses. She was always a lady and had a wonderful sense of humour. She was an avid sports fan, tennis and golf being two of her favourites. Special thanks to the caring staff of Percy E. Moore Hospital and especially to her nieces, nephews and dear friends who took such good care of her near the end of her life. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no church services, however there will be a family graveside service at a later date.
