JOSEPH (JOE) REIMER Joseph (Joe) Reimer peacefully, with family by his side, passed away on February 15, 2018. Joe was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Margaret, and his two brothers Abram (Al, Abe) and James (Jim). Remaining to forever hold him in their hearts is his loving wife Betty, his three sons Dean (Nora), Brian (Jacqueline) and Barry (Cindy), seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Joe was born December 13, 1935 and raised in the Lowe Farm area. After getting his teaching degree, he spent his career at David Thompson/Elmwood High in the industrial arts areas, much of his time teaching automotive mechanics. He had a great love of the outdoors and would spend much of his weekends at the farm. During seeding and harvest, he would be at the farm right after classes finished. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all the staff of the St. Boniface and Concordia Hospitals who took great care of him throughout the many years, as well as the numerous other medical professionals too many to mention. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Cardiac Sciences Program. Cremation has taken place. To honour his wishes a private family service will be held. GOD SAW YOU GETTING TIRED God saw you getting tired, He closed His arms round you and whispered, "Come to Me". In tears we saw you sinking, we watched you fade away. Our hearts were almost broken, you fought so hard to stay. So treasure him Lord, in your garden of rest. For here on earth he was very best. Rest in Peace. 204-782-3541 www.kilcollinscremationservice.com
