BRENDA JOAN MEYERS Brenda Joan Meyers, nee Harrison, April 14, 1944, Winnipeg, passed away suddenly at the hobby farm she cherished in Teulon, MB, February 20, 2018. Left to mourn are her husband Ray Koley in Teulon, sons, Robert (Teresa) and David (Lori), granddaughters, Helena and Margaret, all in BC, sister Maureen Harrison and nephew Troy Harrison in Winnipeg, and nephew Sean Foster in Ontario. She was predeceased by sisters, Laurie and Stacia, father William, brother Scott, mother Alice and first husband Robert Meyers. A more selfless person, there never was. Single mother to Bobby and David, she broke up many fights between this rambunctious pair and put herself third through the nearly two decades it required to raise them up proper-like, without them killing each other. Long after her sons left to make their way, she remained selfless, kept herself third and worried about them, their lives and families every day, no doubt until her last breath. She deserved some time to be first, but would never have afforded herself that luxury. We can't thank you enough Mom. Donations in her name, to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a Manitoba-based animal charity, would be greatly appreciated.

  • I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Brendas passing. She was a dear friend from Investors. I will miss our lunch or dinner get togethers to catch up.   • I met Brenda when we both worked at the U.S.CONSULATE GENERAL..we always kept in touch with her and Ray and I. I spent many a New Years and 3 day vacations in the summer at their beautiful home in Teulon.
