Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEARLE PHILIP FORSHAW 1927 - 2018 Earle passed away peacefully on February 19, 2018. He was predeceased by his father Hugh, mother Maud, stepmother Gertrude, wives Betty and Margaret, and granddaughter Jennifer. Earle will be sadly missed by his loving wife and soulmate Joyce, her son Michael and Earle's son Tom (Sheridan). Earle retired from Swift Canadian and Gainers Inc. after 35 years of service. He was active in his community, a member of the Winnipeg Beach Legion #61 and Lakeside Seniors. He was also a member of Inwood Golf and Country Club. An avid bird watcher, his hobbies includes carving ducks and decoys, painting landscapes and a wide variety of sports and cultural activities. He loved music and sang in many choirs, including in his early years, the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir. He was an active Mason, a 60 year member of Capital Lodge #136, life member and past TPGM of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, past officer of the Royal Order of Scotland, past president of the Interlake Shrine Club, and past president of the Winnipeg Ritualistic Unit of Khartum Temple. Earle was a kind, old school gentleman who loved life, and loved the ever changing panoramic view from his lake front home. He was always the life of the party and the aquasize pool! He was totally devoted to Joyce. Together they travelled extensively, enjoying many exotic locales. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation, 420 Corydon Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0N8.
