MAUREEN (JANICE) GUEST February 22, 2018 at the age 76, Maureen slipped peacefully away from us. She will be forever missed by her daughter Bonnie, sons, Todd (Kim) and Courtney, grandsons, Justin, Nicholas, Tyler (Jessica), Curtis, Bryton and Corey, and great-grandsons, Nathan and Brody. Maureen was predeceased by her husband John, parents, William and Beverly Magas (Duffy), and parents-in-law, Gordon and Emma Guest. Maureen was born in Winnipeg, MB on January 22, 1942. She attended Success Business College and worked at CP Rail before meeting John Guest. They were married in 1961. She and John raised their family in Transcona. She was a staple at community club baseball games, eating sunflower seeds and cheering them on! Mom's greatest joys involved spending time gardening in her backyard and visiting with her grandsons. We will always remember "Grandma-Mo" watching curling on TV, enjoying Blue Jays baseball with "Grandpa John" and cooking the best roast beef dinners ever! We want to thank Deer Lodge for their incredible care, compassion and support. Special thanks to Wendy, Laurie and to her good friend Ursula. As per Maureen's wishes, a private memorial is being held with immediate family. "A grandmother is warm hugs and sweet memories."
