Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE EDWARD SCHMIDT Lawrence Edward Schmidt passed away on February 16, 2018 at Deer Lodge Centre. He was born on February 9, 1922 to Louis Schmidt and Cora (Bigelow). He was the fourth of six children and the last to pass away. He was predeceased by his loving wife Cecilia in 2013. He is survived by his four daughters, Penny (Henry), Sandra (David- deceased), Myrna (Brian) and Lorraine (John), 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass was held on February 22, 2018. A special thanks to the wonderful nurses and caregivers at Deer Lodge Centre.

I worked at his previous home and he was a wonderful gentleman, he even borrowed a book to show me some of the air planes he worked on when he was younger, when I expressed interest in his former profession.
