CECILE THERESE GERVAIS (nee LECLERC) 1917- 2018 Cecile passed away peacefully at Foyer Valade in Winnipeg on February 20, 2018 at the age of 100. Cecile was born in Fisher Branch and married Albert Gervais in 1949. After raising her family on a farm in St. Eustache, she moved to Winnipeg to spend her retirement years. She is predeceased by her husband Albert, her stepson Armand, her sister Jeanne and her brother Lucien. She is survived by her sisters, Ella, Irene (Armand), Florence, Juliette and Anna; by her children, Diane (Al), Roger (Susan), Robert (Enid) and Leonel (Georgette); her six grandchildren, Matthew (Krista), Mark (Kristie), Melanie (Shawn), Christopher, Adrian (Oksana) and Arlene (Alon): along with six great-grandchildren, Nadia, Eric, Jesse, Kaylee, Daniel and Julian. A funeral service will be held at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg at 2:00 p.m., March 8, 2018. The service will be officiated by Father Armand Le Gal. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Foyer Valade for their compassionate care during her final days.
