Fabiola was the youngest of the 12 children of Jean-Marie Bohémier and Florida Leclair and was predeceased by all of her siblings, Marie Jeanne (Antonin Savoie), Victorin (Aurélie Duguay), Éveline (Ted Hart), Lionel, Célestin (Louisa Baron), Florent (Claire Marcoux), Ulysses (Rita O'Connor), Aline, S.G.M., Ephrem (Aurore Saindon), Éloi (Gilberte Gagnon), and Thérèse (Wilf Gillis). She leaves numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Fabiola had a joyful outlook on life and her love of children guided her life. She was a devout Catholic attending mass when her health permitted and she said her rosary daily. She found comfort in the love of God and her joy was contagious. A great interest and love of art led her through several careers to finally be employed by the Winnipeg Art Gallery. For over twenty years she worked closely with the Gallery's growing collection of Inuit art. She enjoyed many long and lasting friendships at the Gallery and will be dearly remembered and cherished by many. A mass will be celebrated at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue, Winnipeg, MB on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Sam Argenziano as celebrant. Her cremated remains will be interred following the service at St. Mary's Cemetery on Osborne Street. The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Concordia hospital. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.

A very special and devoted aunt who was a treasure to me. So many years I enjoyed going out with her for lunch and she so loved the company and of course the food. She had a lovely sense of humor and loved to laugh and give wonderful hugs. She was a very talented artist and her home was full of beautiful paintings and pictures of her family. Family to her meant everything, she did so much for her siblings, cared for them to the end and as well helped many of us, she visited us in hospitals, praying for us as well and was so devoted to her faith. For years she attended daily mass in the morning, sang in a choir and volunteered for many worthwhile organizations. I will miss her dearly as she held a very special place in my life and heart. Rest in Peace my sweet auntie. I know you are very happy to have been reunited with all your family as well in heaven.
