Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLADYS MAE STUPICH (nee FRASER) A resident of Winnipeg since 1967, Gladie passed peacefully into the arms of her sweet Lord on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Born July 1, 1926 in Portage la Prairie, Gladie married RCMP officer Alvin Stupich and was stationed with him in communities around Manitoba and north-western Ontario. Left to survive Gladie are her sister Dorothy (Bell); brothers, George and Harvey; four children, Dan Stupich, of Winnipeg and his wife Jan; Colleen Rohde, of Nanaimo, BC and her children, Alexander and Derek; Tim Stupich, of Ottawa and his wife Catherine and their children, Nick, Alexis, Mike, Holly, Liam, Cameron and Sabrina; David Drummond, of Winnipeg and his wife Kathryn and their children, Boone and Liam. She was predeceased by Alvin; her parents, Gordon and Sarah (Love); as well as her sisters, Jessie (McMaster) and Marge (Stewart). Gladie loved to have a coffee and a chat - about safe topics like world news, politics or religion. Or she liked to have a coffee and read a good book. Or sip a coffee, accompanied by a square or two of Burnt Almond chocolate, while watching the latest BBC drama. Interment of her ashes to take place at Oakland, Manitoba, in springtime.
