GILBERT (GIB) SMITH Peacefully, Gib left us on March 4, 2018. Gib was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. Gib is survived by his wife Eleanor, sons Paul (Karen), Alan (Laura) and Eric (Melanie), eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews. Gib's time was well spent with his family, as well as his many friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Supportive Care Centre of the Lakewood Health Oshawa for their great care these past few days. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Andrews Church in Whitby on Friday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Michael J.
