Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • I would like to start by saying that anyone that knew my dad personally like I did being his son, lost a man that did so much for everyone and little for himself. He was someone you couldn't help but love with his amazing love for his family and close friends and his great sense of humor. He loved the simple things in life and I will miss the great stories he told me about anything and everything. Dad, not a day goes by that I don't miss you and think of you and wish we could just sit together and chat..I love you dad I always have and I always will. It's just not the same without you. You were my hero and growing up all I wanted was to spend time with you. I hope you will watch over us and make sure we are all ok. May you rest in peace and one more thing...I love you pops. - Posted by: Nick Blackwell (Son) on: Mar 08, 2020

  • Audrey and family I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family during this sad time. I enjoyed chatting and laughing with Reggie over the years. I won't forget that great sense of humor he had and the fun we had when our family visited you guys so long ago already. It sure is hard to believe he isn't with us anymore. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the days ahead. - Posted by: Claire W (Friend ) on: Mar 20, 2018

  • Reg and I go back a few years. Camping, socials and late night burgers and fries at Nick's. I was lucky to be his best man at his wedding to Audrey. Like Dave, I lost all contact with Reg years ago. Why, I don't know, but the memories are coming back and they bring a smile to my face. It also shows how life goes by much to quickly. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. - Posted by: Peter Kastellanos (Good Friend) on: Mar 13, 2018

  • See you on the other side Reg. - Posted by: Bill Franck (Friend) on: Mar 13, 2018

  • Audrey and family, please accept my very sincerest condolences. Reg and I were best buddies here in Winnipeg many years ago. We rode motorcycles together, hung out together back in the early 70's and downed a few bubblies as well. I will always remember Reg as a really funny guy and extremely hard worker. We lost touch over time as people often do although fond memories would pop up from time to time as they will continue to do so. - Posted by: Dave Carpick (Friend) on: Mar 11, 2018
