Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • So sorry for your loss, Mike, Jen, Sienna, and Mr. Ifill. I have great memories of your mom bringing us Dad's chocolate chip cookies in the basement while playing Risk. Such a nice lady! - Posted by: Chris Honke (High school buddy) on: May 22, 2018

  • We were so sorry to hear of Mrs. Ifill's passing. What a special lady! Over the past 20 years, every time we saw your mom, she greeted us so warmly and then always asked about our children and in more recent years about my mom. She was so kind and loving. May you all know God's comfort and peace during these difficult days. We look forward to seeing her again one day in heaven! - Posted by: Jim & Joanne Poirier (Friends of the Family) on: Mar 15, 2018

  • So sorry you needed to say "goodbye for now" to your dear mom. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Much love from the Struss house. Darren and Joanne Struss - Posted by: Joanne Struss (Friend of family) on: Mar 15, 2018

  • I remember her when my sister went to the MSD dorm. A few years later I joined the MSD. - Posted by: Patrick Perry (Dorm) on: Mar 14, 2018

  • Lela would always have a conversation with me after or before church, and for a number of times she would chat with me and I didn't know who she was. You know how you pretend you know someone while you are trying to remember their name. Well, she chatted friendly words long before I KNEW her name. After I got the courage to ask her just who she was, she laughed and introduced herself and we remained warm friends ever since....many years ago. I will miss you Lela and when I see you again, we'll have a nice long chat! Sorry to Carlisle and Michael. - Posted by: Erma Bergen-Glowasky (Church friend) on: Mar 12, 2018

  • The beautiful photo above is not as beautiful as her kind, generous and wonderful nature. An admirable woman, mother, grandmother and wife. “When you speak of her, speak not with tears, for thoughts of her should not be sad. Let memories of the times you shared give you comfort, for her life was rich because of you.” Author Unknown - Posted by: GLENDA GABORIEAU (co-worker at MSD) on: Mar 12, 2018

  • Michael, my condolences on the loss of your mother. Cherish all the wonderful memories… They last a lifetime. Take care. - Posted by: Cam Moskal (Friend of Mike'S) on: Mar 12, 2018

  • My prayer is with her families.. She will be missed by us from MSD dorm she had been supervising and kept us in good hands! She was such a sweet and strong lady that we knew! Now she is with God and enjoy new journey! - Posted by: Tammy Cleeve-Spiller (Resident at MSD) on: Mar 11, 2018
