EDGAR LAGASSE 1921 - 2018 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edgar on March 5, 2018 at the St. Pierre Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Florentine (Bouchard) in 1987, and his parents Amédée and Rose Anna (Vermette) Lagassé. He was the sixth child of 15 siblings and worked in construction. He enjoyed working in the garden, playing shuffleboard, and meeting his buddies for coffee at McDonald's, but his favourite pastime was watching wrestling. He will be sadly missed by his companion of 30 years, Rachelle Gendron; her sons Danny (Susan) and Kenneth (Laurie); his brothers Roland (Lilian) and Marcel (Dianne); his sisters Donalda and Claudette; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Adolphe Roman Catholic Church, with Father René Chartier presiding. My sincerest condolences to all family of Edgar, Roland and Lil, Marcel & Diane, Donalda and Claudette and his companion, Rachelle.....I'm sure you will cherish the many memories and good times you shared and he will be missed by all.
