Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySUZANNE (SUE) LAW (nee FRENETTE) July 7, 1959 - February 11, 2018 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Suzanne (Sue) Law. Sue leaves behind her husband of 27 years, Gilbert (Gil) Law, and sister Renee Martin (Tim), as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Sue was born and raised in Winnipeg and spent many of her early years overseas in France and Germany. Sue graduated from Kelvin High School where she met some of her lifelong friends. Sue spent the last 30 plus years working for the University of Manitoba, most of which were in the Faculty of Law and the last seven years in the Department of Psychology. She had many passions in her life aside from Gil. She loved music, attending many concerts and festivals. Sue and Gil helped in establishing the Rockin' The Fields of Minnedosa non-profit co-op which they attended annually. Sue (Miss Canon) loved photography, always a camera (or two) in hand. She managed to capture many memories over the last 40 years. She was also very involved in crafting, a hobby she very much enjoyed. Sue was a lover of animals, especially her beloved cats. Later in life Sue fell in love with hummingbirds which she loved to photograph. Travel was a big part of Sue's life where she and Gil made many friends, especially in their favourite location of Grenda which they travelled to yearly. Nothing was more special to Sue than spending time at the Law family cottage at Falcon Lake, whether it was alone with Gil or with family and friends. Sue met and touched the lives of many people and will forever be in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Fraternal Order of Eagles Club, 3459 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, on March 24 at 5:00 p.m.

From the time I met Sue at the bowling alley 30+ years ago, and became friends, we shared many wonderful times together. Sue was such a music-loving, fun-loving, kindhearted, generous soul. A beautiful person. She was an incredible photographer. Her story was cut far too short. She had so much more to give. Deepest condolences Gil and Renee and friends and family. - Posted by: Shelley Maslow (Friend) on: Mar 21, 2018
