Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHELE PELLETIER May 28, 1959 - March 9, 2018 Michèle was a force of nature who never went unnoticed in a crowd. It's possible that you have never met anyone who lived life with as much energy and enthusiasm as she did. She had a lot going on in her personality including some contrasting characteristics such as outrageous extroversion and extreme privacy. For those of you who knew her, you know how funny and quick-witted she could be. You also know how talented she was both artistically (stained glass, fused glass, refinishing, leather works, drawing, decorating, etc.) and physically (synchronized swimmer, paddle boarder, runner, kayaker, hiker, squash player, climber, gymnast, golfer, bench presser). She didn't just engage in those activities recreationally; she tackled them with the goal to conquer and to be the best. She worked hard and played harder. If you ever attended one of her parties, you were guaranteed fantastic food that she prepared from scratch, great music that she selected personally for the occasion, and a lot of laughs and dancing until all hours of the night. She had energy to burn and it was a challenge to keep up with her. She was fiercely independent and rarely asked for help even when things got to be difficult. Michèle was adventurous, the life of the party and loved by many. Michèle is survived by her siblings Marc, Louise and Gord, Robert and Judy, her parents Pierre and Suzanne, as well as many extended family and a ton of friends. She was extremely grateful to have her best friends, Terry, Ruth and Melanie, there for her especially when she really needed them. To all her family and friends, she wanted you to know that she loved you and wanted you to come together to celebrate her life. We plan to do that. In memory of Michèle, donations may be made to the Pelletier Flaten Family Fund at The Winnipeg Foundation, 1350 - One Lombard Place, Winnipeg, MB R3B 0X3. Phone 204-944-9474. www.wpgfdn.org
