CAMILLE LANA JONES PARSONS 1975 - 2018 It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Camille, at the age of 43, on March 13, 2018. She is survived by her mother and father Patty/Glen; sons Cody, Aiden and Kieran; sister Charlene/Des (Sadie, Keara); brother Ian/Kathleen (Adrianna, Noah), and many other family members. Camille loved life. She was the one who lit up a room and made everyone laugh and smile. People who knew her thought she was a genuine, sweet, caring and ever so positive person. She continued learning through the University of Manitoba, and enjoyed running, writing, soccer, fashion and her constant spiritual exploration. Above all, she loved her boys Cody, Aiden and Kieran, they were her life. She was a great mom, a loving daughter, a wonderful sister, a fun and caring aunty, and a fantastic friend. A service in celebration of her life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 23 at the Transcona Memorial United Church, 209 Yale Avenue West, Winnipeg, MB, with a luncheon following the service. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on behalf of Camille to Elmwood Resource Community Centre for their afterschool homework and nutrition program at http://elmwoodcrc.ca/sponsor-year or a charity of your choice.

I was sadden to read about Camille's passing. Unfortunately due to a passing in our family, I did not read about her service until this weekend. I worked with Camille in the late 90s at Fort Garry Industries. She was a fresh faced young mother with an infectious smile and beautiful blue eyes. She was a beautiful, determined young lady. It seemed that whatever she set her mind to do, she would achieve. She lived life to the fullest and encouraged others to do the same. We became friends as well as co-workers with me visiting her and her young son at their house in Transcona and they would stop by my house for visits as well. After she moved on from Fort Garry, we still managed to keep in touch during her time at Lyreco and CTV and she stopped by for a visit after her wedding to show me some pictures. We then lost contact for a couple of years, but she surfaced in Bahrain. I asked her what a nice Transcona girl was doing working in Bahrain and she advised living and experiencing life. She updated me on her life and spoke with so much pride about her boys. We have stayed in contact since including her move to Guelph. I had sent her birthday wishes on January 22 and had not heard back from her, which was not like Camille and I wondered if perhaps she was off on a new adventure. Camille was a free spirit who tried to see the good in everyone and I know she will be missed by anyone she had touched. My sincerest condolences to your family and to her boys for the loss of Camille. She was one-of-a-kind. - Posted by: Melaine (Former Co-worker and Friend) on: Mar 26, 2018

We met Camille in 2016 as our son became friends with Aiden at Bishop Macdonell high school in Guelph. We are so saddened by the loss of such a lovely lady, mother, and friend. We were looking forward to continuing our friendship, but in the words of Camille "life stalled us once again." We will meet another time, in a better place. Rest in Peace. Our prayers to Aiden, Kieran and Cody, and our condolences to all the Jones Parsons family. My beautiful niece. I use to share a room with her. She was in the crib, I slept on a bed in her room. So many memories I can remember. She was a ray of sunshine. I always bragged about how beautiful my niece was inside and out. Im so glad we got to spend a lunch together in Guelph in may 2017. It was like no time had passed . My condolences go to all family members and friends. Say hi to grandma Rita for me. - Posted by: Terry Manthey (Aunt) on: Mar 19, 2018

I met Camille in High School, her personality and spirit was infectious. We'd spend a ton of time in the school bathroom being ridiculous, making stupid faces in the mirror, laughing hystercially, and of course, doing our make-up and fixing our hair-she always had the best tips for applying make-up. Years went on and we kept in touch. We'd always make an effort to get together upon her return trips to Winnipeg. Our conversations were about our kids, and spirituality. Sharing the same outlook on life, we spent hours talking about metaphysics and the law of attraction and energies. Camille had a great understanding of how the universe works and she never took anything for granted- she lived and loved every moment, deeply. She was dynamic and an inspiration to pursue your dreams and live life to the absolute fullest. I will hold her forever in my heart. Love you Camille, Christine D. - Posted by: Christine (Friend) on: Mar 19, 2018

I was blessed to have known Camille .. blessed enough to touch her truly free sun shining soul. She was so genuine, unique, full of life, caring, loving, and giving as I never seen before .. she was more of an angel than anything else. I will always remember her smile and deep soul touching conversations .. my life won't be the same again after I met her and after she is gone without telling me how to live without her beautiful soul .. will miss you Camille and hope to meet you again in a better place, so we continue what we have started .. - Posted by: Magdy Habib (Friend) on: Mar 17, 2018
