Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILDA DIANE MILLER August 8, 1926 - March 9, 2018 It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Milda Diane Miller on March 9, 2018, at the age of 91, with her loving son Wayne by her side. Milda will be remembered for her determination, strong work ethic, quick wit and generous spirit. Her pursuit of quality led her from a small subsistence farm in Alberta to key positions in the finest jewellery store in Winnipeg. She dedicated herself to staying busy with her ceramics, baking, gardening, knitting and embroidering. She enjoyed being surrounded by beautiful things, especially her numerous dolls and teddy bears. She was happiest at home sharing tea and cookies with loved ones or keeping in touch through phone calls and letters, but was also always ready to go off on an adventure at a moment's notice. Milda will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but there is comfort in knowing she is now in heaven reunited with old friends and family. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the staff at The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for their compassionate care and support. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place and no service will be held.

Milda was my mom's (Lea Schmidt) dearest friend, they met in Bible School and their friendship continued. I have such fond memories of Milda visiting us here in Vancouver, and our visits to her in Wpg when I was younger. She was such a wonderful, fun person. My mom would go visit for a week or two, and come back with no voice because they talked and laughed so much.
