KENNETH ALBERT JOHNSON March 13, 1948 - March 9, 2018 Surrounded by his loving family, Ken passed peacefully on March 9, 2018. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife and best friend, Judy; daughters, Dianna Johnson, Melanie (Yanik) Sourisseau, Hillary (Dwayne) Guay and Nikki (Craig) Foster; grandchildren, Johnathan, Joseph, Justin, Nyomi, Oscar and Mathilde; several great-grandchildren; his adoring aunt Gladys Tarala; dear in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins and his "boys", dogs, Bobby and Shadow. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Ivy. Ken was one of the kindest souls we have ever known. He was always willing to help in any way that he could and, together, he and Judy would be by our side unquestioningly. For Ken, family came first and he truly enjoyed the liveliness of a full house and family get-togethers. Our source of sage advice and infinite patience, he sought to instill in us the belief that everything has a way of working itself out. The family wishes to express their utmost gratitude to Dr. Kotb and his team at CancerCare Manitoba for their care, and to Dr. Bellas and the staff on GH4 at Health Sciences Centre for their compassion. Donations may be made in Ken's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.

It is with great sadness I just learned of Ken’s passing. He stood up for me at my wedding in 1971. Lost touch with him over the years but thought of him often. He always beat me at pool and was not a good winner. lol. He could skate like the wind. He was a wonderful friend. - Posted by: Garth Paterson (Friend) on: Aug 30, 2018

Judy and family, I was so sorry to hear about Ken's illness and death, much too young. Thank you all for the support that you gave to my family when it was very important. - Posted by: Rosita (friend) on: Mar 17, 2018
