  • We worked in the same mall for the past 2.5 years. Al will be missed for his jokes but most of all his laugh and smile! Sitting in the back lane will not be the same rest in peace my friend already miss you! - Posted by: Rick (Friend) on: Mar 31, 2018

  • Al and I met about 8 years ago when I went to buy some steak. He was extremely friendly and quick witted. We stood outside the store in the cold laughing and telling stories like we were old friends. He told me stories about his life and it was obvious he was a very devoted husband and father who was crazy about his wife Pat, and proud of all his kids. Al was extremely proud of his career as a butcher and I would usually go to Carvers early so I could just ask him what I should get. He made numerous recommendations that never disappointed. My family ate more steak because I would get to visit with Al. He would shake my hand like a 25 year old squeezing as hard as he could. There doesn't seem to be as many people like Al around anymore with his devotion to family, his work, and God. It was an honour to know his man. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Chris Riddell (Friend) on: Mar 25, 2018

  • I worked with Al for 2 years at the Carver's Knife and in those 2 years he was seldom without a smile. He had wonderful stories and endless advice. He was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed. - Posted by: Colin Ginter (Coworker ) on: Mar 17, 2018
