ROY CLOUSTON Roy Clouston, 84, died peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. He was predeceased by his son Kyle, and is survived by his sons: Wayne (Becky), Kevin (Diane), Darren (Kathleen), Jason (Joanne), and seven grandchildren. Roy was a long time employee of LaFarge as the Electrical Supervisor of Operations. In his retirement his passion for woodworking gave him a great deal of satisfaction. His friends and family knew Roy as someone who gave generously of his time and could always count on him to help with Home Improvement projects. He loved gardening and every year he grew the "best" tomatoes ever. His truck was his guilty pleasure and he loved to take road trips, whether to Texas for the winter or to BC to visit Wayne and Becky. For many years, summers were spent at "the lake", though we were never quite sure what he did there. He was a peaceful man who wanted nothing more than a cup of coffee and quiet time in nature. For those who loved him, his passing will leave an empty space filled with the memories of a good friend and a gentle soul. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 23, 2018 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, interment to follow.
