Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHEODORE GALAY Theodore Alexander Galay, aged 76, passed peacefully in his Vancouver home on February 28, 2018. He was born on July 16, 1941 in Beausejour, Manitoba and was junior to his twin brothers Carl and Victor. Ted was a thoughtful man who listened more than he spoke. He was a strong intellect who won the Governor General Award in Grade 12 for being the top student in Manitoba. He had his PhD in Mathematics and taught at the college in Brandon, MB followed by Langara College in BC until retirement. He was also a successful playwright, author of "After Baba's Funeral" and "Tsymbaly", among others. His mother, Lena and father, John, predeceased him. Ted's wry humour, sharp mind and natural storytelling ability will be greatly missed by his brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to come celebrate his life at a memorial, which will take place on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Kitsilano Neighbourhood House, 2305 West 7th Ave., Vancouver, BC.
