CONSTANCE ANN BAIN (nee EINARSON) Sadly, after a courageous battle with complications caused by diabetes, Connie Bain passed away at Concordia Hospital, on March 21, 2018, at the age of 69. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Angie and favourite son-in-law Jim Dyck; grandchildren, Kara (Devin) and Ryan (Lauren); her most recent loves, great-grandchildren, Ryder and Logan; loving sister Donna Paul (Ron); brother Glen Einarson (Roslyn); nieces, Nicole and Emily; nephews, Troy, Michael, Dylan and Blake. Plus many cousins, aunties and uncles. She will also be missed by longtime friend Terry Kuzmich, her sister by choice. She was predeceased by her husband David Bain, in 2002 and parents, Martha Einarson, in 2009 and Dori Einarson, in 1997. Connie was born on February 26, 1949 and started her life living in a small granary on the Einarson family property in Arborg, MB, where her mom created a loving home. Shortly after her birth the family moved to Winnipeg where she lived her whole life. She loved spending time with family and friends at her cottage in Winnipeg Beach, where you could always enjoy music, laughs and a good time. Through the years she also enjoyed volunteering at Donwood Manor, Princess Margaret School and the Nearly New Shop where she met many friends. Her favourite pastimes were reading Stephen King novels, cross-stitch and ceramics. She looked forward to her weekly lunch visits with Terry and Donna, and treasured our Sunday night family dinners. A special thank you to the staff at Concordia Hospital for her care, especially to her nurse Loryn who helped us more than he will ever know. A private family service will take place at a later date. In Connie's memory, please enjoy a cup of "Timmy's" coffee with a friend. Donations can also be made in her memory to Diabetes Canada (www.diabetes.ca). Always loved, forever in our hearts. • I would like to send our deepest sympathies to all the family and friends of Connie. She was such an amazing lady. She told me some stories and I enjoyed the time I had to care for her. Connie has really inspired me and really showed me a lot in keeping strong and with lots of encouragement. She really pushed to the limit and stayed strong throughout her disease. We will sure miss you Connie. RIP. - Posted by: Wanda (Caregiver ) on: Mar 26, 2018

  • Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of Connie. We had some good times with her and David in years gone past and at Einarsson's family get together and of course the Einnarson golf tournaments. All though we never seen much of each other in the past few years she was still in our thoughts and they were good ones. We know your whole family will miss her so much as she was a big part of all your lives. Sincerely, Gerry and Elaine Bentley - Posted by: Gerry and Elaine Bentley (Friend and Cousin) on: Mar 26, 2018
