Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHOLLY FAYE THOMAS HANSEN (nee BROOKLYN) March 31, 1966 - March 23, 2018 Wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, aunty. After a brave fight with cancer, and with her family by her side, she was called home to be with the Creator. She is survived by her loving husband Orval Hansen; mother Thelma Fontaine; father Duncan Thomas; her beloved children, Samantha, Bryce, Jazmen, Sly and her loved stepchildren, Tessa, Angie, Mimi; grand-children, Miley, Harley, Breezie, Bryce Jr, Barbara Rose, Emma and Jared; her brothers, Samuel and Marcel (Lorraine); her nephew and nieces, Shau, Shane, Sasha, Jordan, Bret, Lexa, Kyra; Uncle Peter and Aunty Audie. She was predeceased by her brother Duncan Thomas Jr. She was dedicated to helping others, always willing to lend a hand. She built great relationships with her co-workers, creating lifelong friendships, who followed her along her journey. Wake services will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. and Tuesday, March 27, 2018 until 10:00 p.m. at Fort Alexander Roman Catholic Church in Sagkeeng First Nation then Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. Pallbearers are her sons, Bryce and Sly; brothers, Marcel and Samuel; her grandson Jared; and nephews, Shaun Ward, Shane Ward and Bret Turcan. Honorary pallbearers are her five daughters, her granddaughter and nieces.

Condolence to the family ❤ I will always remember the photo sessions with her and her family. First with her daughter and granddaughter then another with the full family. She loved her family I could tell right from the start. She will always be with you in your hearts.. help guide you threw hard times and she will be that voice of reason in the back of your head when maybe making hard decisions... lean on one another. Brooklyn was a great friend ever since I met her. She would help you out in anyway she could. I first met Brooklyn about 12 yrs ago when we worked together at Four Rivers Médical Clinic( Main St). Out of all my co-workers she was one of the best. Brooklyn your smiling face will be missed. R.I.P my friend, till we meet again. So sorry to hear of Holly's passing. She was always good to me and treated me like family, despite what happened. I will remember her smile and how much she loved. She is safe and free of pain and being taken care of by her bro Duncan. My condolences to Duncan, Thelma, Uncle Pete, Mickey and Sam and extended family.
