Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I lived in Swan River as a student in the late 1960's and got to know the Filuk families and their children. I enjoyed the hospitality of Alex and Sonia and others of the church congregation. I learned valuable wisdom from our conversations. I have lost touch over the years, but when I heard about the relief goods being sent to the old country, I understood that he would be the man to find out how to get it done. May God grant you many happy memories, peace, comfort, guidance and strength for the times ahead. Isabel Acheson (nee Fraser). - Posted by: Isabel Acheson (friend) on: Apr 04, 2018

  • I have fond memories Of Alex when He lived in Manitoba . It was a pleasure both doing business with him and associating with him and his family. Our paths crossed many times in the 1960s and 70s. He will be missed. My thoughts are with Sonia and family. - Posted by: Peter McDougall (An old friend retired from Powell Equipment and lived in Dauphin in the 1960 's ) on: Mar 29, 2018
