DAVID GEORGE IBBOTT October 2, 1949 - March 21, 2018 Dr. David George Ibbott, 68, of Sarasota, died on March 21, 2018. David lived life to the fullest wherever he resided . . . Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, London, Mississauga, Burlington, Montreal, Kilbride, Kansas City, Richmond, VA, Sarasota and summers cottaging on Koshlong Lake. Born in Winnipeg, MB, to Charles and Aimee Ibbott, David is survived by his children, Ryan (with Tonya, Evan and Avery), Kelly (with Arthur, Anika and Jackson) and Brock (with Karla). David is also survived by his mother and siblings, Charles, Richard and Barbara, and their respective families. After the loss of his loving wife of 39 years, Kimberly, in 2010, David was fortunate to find a partner with whom to enjoy the next chapter, marrying Michelle Burke-Phillips in December 2017. David is survived by Michelle and her children, Rochelle, Max and Brendan, and their respective families. David had an adventurous outlook, a great love for his family and enjoyed creating lasting friendships along the way. He will forever be cherished, missed and loved. In accordance with David's wishes, cremation has occurred. Remembrance gatherings will be held at a later date.
