BARRY CAMERON HUNTER May 13, 1954 - April 15, 2018 With deep sorrow we announce Barry's passing. He left us peacefully at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, with his family by his side. The son of George and Violet (Bell) Hunter; Barry lived in Winnipeg, Swan River and Portage la Prairie through his life, most recently moving back to Winnipeg. He started his own family in Swan River, with sons Patrick and Evan and daughter Crystal. His family grew when he moved to Portage la Prairie to be with his wife Debbie (Alexander) and stepdaughters, Krista and Jenny. Barry had many hobbies that brought him joy in life - restoring 1950s Chevys, model railroading, camping and fishing - but nothing brought him more joy than time with his children and grandchildren. Barry will be greatly missed by his wife; sons; stepdaughters, and grandchildren Owen, Gabriel, Austin and Quinn. He was predeceased by his parents and daughter Crystal. A private family service is planned. Condolences may be sent to Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave., Winnipeg 204.897.4665 www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com Psalm 116:15… “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints."

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

Sending my deepest sympathies to you all. My first after school work experience was at Woodies Bakery in Swan River with Barry as my Employer. He was very patient and kind hearted and many of the things I learned during my time under his employment I have used as lifelong skills. He was never judgemental. I have good memories of laughing and working together with all who worked there during the early 80’s. Condolences and prayers for peace as you mourn his passing. - Posted by: Teresa Mckay (Employee from SR) on: Apr 30, 2018
