DOUGLAS SCOTT WILLIAMS It is with saddened hearts that the family of Mr. Douglas Scott Williams announce his unexpected passing on April 25, 2018, at the age of 65. Dougie was born in Fort William on April 3, 1953 and was raised, as well as educated there. He moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba and was employed by Canadian National Railway for many years and looked forward to his retirement back in Thunder Bay. Dougie enjoyed bowling, pool and playing darts. He was also an Elk's member for many years. Dougie is survived by his partner Ester Beardy; as well as siblings, Sandra, Brenda, Brent (Debbie), Velda (Phil), Denise (Donna), Walter (Mona), Loriann, Shaun, Michele and Darryl (Saul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dougie was predeceased by his father Douglas; mother Dolores; brothers, Robert and Lawrence. Special thanks to the staff at Southbridge Lakehead (Lakehead Manor) for all your care and support. A special thank you to Melanie at St. Joseph's Hospital for your care and compassion.
