Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB. Mourning his loss are his sisters, Edith Richmond and Kathleen Phillips; his very devoted brother and sister-in-law, John and Dorothy Breckman; nieces, Janice Richmond and Nancy Rowley; nephews, Ronald Phillips and Alan and Doug Breckman who all enjoyed his stories and visits at the lake. He also leaves numerous cousins and other family members. Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Gertrude (nee Foster), sister, Beverley, brothers-in-law, Robbie Richmond and Ron Phillips, nieces, Robyn and Sue Richmond, and great-nephew, Jacob Rowley. In 1956 Bruce married Shirley Cooper and together they had five girls: Brendice, Colleen, Kathi, Jodi and Michelle. Bruce and Shirley later divorced. Bruce attended school in Lundar, MB. He took a dairy course at the University of Manitoba and worked for many years at the Maple Leaf Creamery in Lundar. He and Shirley also ran the Manitoba Driving Licensing Bureau in Lundar. Bruce drove a school bus, installed and maintained a laundromat, and ran a tow truck business. Bruce enjoyed playing hockey with the Lundar Falcons, tinkering with cars and driving his motorcycle. He retired after spending a few years driving a semi-truck and being a long distance trucker. God bless you, Bruce. We will miss you! In keeping with Bruce's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Lundar Lutheran Church with Pastor Terry Throndson officiating. Interment will be held in the Lundar Lutheran Cemetery. We wish to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at both the Lakeshore General Hospital and E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital, as well as the wonderful home care workers in Lundar.
