MARGARET JULIANNE HANEL Peacefully, at her residence on May 2, 2018, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of 63 years to Gary Hanel, loving mother of Karen Szykoluk (John), of Huntsville, Cathy Garrard (Raphael Metron), of London and Roanne Hanel (David Rendimonti), of Whitby. Cherished by her grandchildren, Kristen, James, Grant, Heather, Gillian and Sydney. She will be missed by her brother William (Bill) Tomkins. Predeceased by brother Orville Tomkin. Margaret grew up in Winnipeg, where she met Gary and where she began her love for spending summers at the lake. Her love for cooking and baking was anticipated by family. She also delighted the many guests of Nor'Loch Lodge Resort, which the family previously operated in Dwight, Ontario for 23 years, until Gary and Margaret's retirement. She will be dearly missed. In keeping with Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place. Thank you to the staff at Maitland Manor in Goderich, for their loving care and support. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Margaret can be made to St. James Anglican Church, Port Cunnington, P.O. Box 134, Dwight, Ontario P0A 1H0. - Your pain is gone, the Lord welcomes you to sit by His side and to continue to watch over your family. -
