WILLIAM FREDERICK DOTT July 3, 1944 May 7, 2018 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of William Frederick Dott on May 7, 2018 at the Grace Hospital, losing his battle with cancer at the age of 73. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Malcolm and Jean Dott, his younger brother, David, and on March 22, 2018 of this year, his older brother Robert (Bob). Bill is survived by his wife, Karen, daughter, Melanie Peters (Myron), their children, Samantha, Justin and Tyler, his son, Christopher Dott (Nancy) and their mother, Jacqueline Dott, his brother, Daniel (Fay) and their children, Garrett, Patrick and Makenna all of Winnipeg, MB as well as nieces, Dawn and Dyana Dott and their families, all of Calgary, Alberta. Bill was an avid curler and spent many years at the Granite Curling Club, curling with his father, Malcolm, brother, Bob, and skip, Brian Holmes. After moving to Charleswood, he started curling with the Charleswood Curling Club and represented Charleswood Curling Club for two years in a row in the mixed play downs. He enjoyed many years holidaying at Falcon Lake and with family in Teulon. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Jets. He was so hoping that this year they would win the Stanley Cup! We are so very sorry for your loss. Bill was truly a special person. Bill Doug Bob Haimes and Doug's Brother Ken curled together at Charleswood. One year they went on to win an event in the MCA. They had a great time together. We had get togethers at Bill's that were always fun. He will be missed R.I.P. Bill. - Posted by: Doug and Kathy Sheppard (Friends ) on: May 12, 2018
