Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Susan, I’m so sorry for your loss. I came to know your mom more than 30 years ago in the CT nursery. As a new mother and new comer to the church, I deeply appreciated her welcoming smile and friendship. Your mom was someone who had the magic touch, and could soothe any crying baby with her songs and lullabies. Her godly character left an indelible impression on me. She’ll be greatly missed. May fond memories of her comfort you at this difficult time. Veronica Yeung - Posted by: Veronica Yeung (friend) on: May 27, 2018

  • My most sincere, heartfelt condolences to you & you family Susan. Your mom was such a special woman, who always livened up any situation. We will all miss her very much. Keeping you in my daily prayers and sending love & big hugs. - Posted by: Fran Mercer (Friend ) on: May 18, 2018

  • Although my Mom’s age, as I grew up, Evie epitomized fun, with a feisty, youthful energy, ever-ready for any adventure. Joyful with a ready laugh, she made everyone around her giggle as we enjoyed her witty conversation. The many CT camp memories of weeks spent with Evie as together we labored for the Lord will remain very special. You’ll be so missed here, Evie, but I know you’re dancing and rejoicing, in perfect health now, in the presence of Jesus, reunited with so many dear ones gone before....”I can only imagine”!! Til we meet again, my dear friend! - Posted by: Judi Chomiak (Long-time friend, CT camp co-worker) on: May 16, 2018

  • Susan, I'm so very sorry for your loss and it will be a great loss for so many. Your mom was a wonderful woman and so many of us loved her dearly. I will try to get to the service, so I can give you a big hug and my condolences. Take care of yourself and God bless. Love and Hugs, Joan - Posted by: Joan Knowles (Friend) on: May 16, 2018
