EVELYN MARY MADDISON It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Evelyn Maddison on May 3, 2018 at the Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 89, after a long battle with emphysema (COPD). Evelyn is survived by husband Ronald (Bob); daughters, Ronda Maddison and Beverly Downey; sons, Gregory and Larry Downey; sister Shelegh (Mike); brother Harold Coates (Nancy); sister-in-law Annette Coates; and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Christine Coates of Morris, Manitoba; sister Lillian (Leo); brothers, Howard (Dorothy), Richard (Irene) and Clifford. The family wishes to thank her family doctor, Dr. O. Dissanayake, and the nursing staff at Victoria General Hospital for their care and compassion.
