Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORBERT ANDREW TYCHOLIS Norbert Andrew Tycholis, of Victoria, British Columbia, peacefully passed away on May 17, 2018. He was 90 years old, born on February 10, 1928, in Saskatchewan. He was married to Nadia Tycholis (Batulla) for 60 years. They both left a lasting mark in various communities where they lived, first in Winnipeg where they started their family, next in Canmore, Alberta where they owned a motel for 12 years. Norbert always was dedicated to skilled house building and renovating and was known for running a tight ship, perhaps this was due to his younger days of operating tugs on the West Coast. This left a lasting impression that finally drove him and Nadia to move to Victoria. They owned two Hallmark Card Shops and finally enjoyed many years of retirement. Together, Norbert and Nadia raised three children and many grandchildren who will greatly miss him: Randy and wife Norene with grandsons, Jonathan (wife Taryn plus two beautiful great-granddaughters, Avielle and Camilla), Jason, Trevor and Christopher; Tim and wife Cheryl with grandson Ryan and granddaughter Annelyse; and Lisa and husband Michael (Dunsmuir) with grandsons, Aidan and Curtis. Will deeply miss you, Norbert. We love you Dad. Walk tall.

Nadia and family My deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. Sharon, Shelley, Debbie and Yvonne were also saddened by the loss of "Uncle Norby". I have great memories of the dinners and card games we used to have when you were in Winnipeg. Such fun. Love to all from Eleanore and family. - Posted by: Eleanore Chopp (Cousin) on: Jun 03, 2018
