RONALD CRAGGS It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald (Ron) Craggs on May 25, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. Ron is survived by his wife Florence, daughters, Nancy and Susan, grandsons, Justin, Joshua, Jesse, Jabriel and Nathanial, and stepsons, John and Mike. Ron was predeceased by his first wife, Lorraine, his parents, Lawrence and Pauline, and brother Barry. Ron was born in Winnipeg in 1937. He served in the R.C.A.F. from 1956 to 1963. He then went on to work at Standard Aero Ltd. until his retirement. Ron lead a full and adventurous life up until the last few weeks of his life. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Health Sciences Centre Thoracic Medicine, Health Sciences Centre Cancer Care, St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Program Team, and Riverview Health Centre for compassion and care. As per Ron's wishes, a private cremation and memorial service has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ron's name to CancerCare Manitoba or the Riverview Health Centre.
