WARREN JAMES CLARK On behalf of family and friends, we would like to honour the memory of Warren James (Jim) Clark on what would have been his 75th birthday this 8th of June. Jim sadly passed away this past fall, but he is remembered fondly for his charismatic personality, laughter and smile, jokes and stories, and especially for his personal and professional achievements. With his Master of Education degree, Jim was a pioneer in developing and improving education in schools not only across the province of Manitoba but also in countries such as China and Bangladesh, with his most distinguished position being in administration of the prestigious private school, Clifford Estates, in Guangzhou, China. It is note-worthy to mention that many of Jim's achievements are not limited to his professional standings. He was a proud veteran having served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, an exceptional trap-shooter winning numerous accolades, a volunteer firefighter, an avid adventurer, a recreational pilot, a fantastic cook, and most importantly he was a beloved friend, brother, uncle, son, husband, and father. Following true to his adventurous spirit, Jim spent the last years of his life enjoying retirement in the Philippines on Palawan Island in the beautiful city of Puerto Princesa, where he made many friends and many memories. My most cherished memories with my Dad include fishing and camping at Vandekerckhove Lake (Manitoba), making fishing jigs ("J & J Jigs"), and visiting in the Philippines. My Dad has left me with a love of knowledge, science, books, nature, Neil Young, and travel. I am so honoured to be able to share with you a little about the man he was. He was a great man who left this world much too soon, but he will always be remembered.

My late wife Cathy worked for your dad in Churchill in the mid 1980's. Jim was a character. Sorry for your loss Jamie. - Posted by: Jim Caron (Aquatence ) on: Jun 14, 2018

Jamie , we will always remember your dad and our friendship with him in Churchill. We went spent many weekends with him at our cabin, laughing, ski- doing and just sitting around the campfire enjoying the quiet times away from work. He was a people person , helpful to those that needed it. If someone was carrying heavy grocery bags out of the grocery store, he'd be the first to offer his help. Your dad was so happy when you were born,he could't stop smiling or showing everyone pictures of you. Glen and Jim enjoyed hunting together and even if he got the smaller caibou he had the " bigger" story to tell. He will be missed but we can be thankful for our friendship and our friend who enjoyed life. - Posted by: Vicky and Glen McEwan (Friend) on: Jun 09, 2018
