BRUCE WILLIAM JONES July 5, 1936 - June 7, 2018 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bruce Jones at the Riverview Health Centre. He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine (Armstrong), of 54 years, along with sister Shirley (Don), Aunt Mabella Jones and nephews and nieces, Glen (Trish), Randy and Catherine (Richard), grandnephews and nieces, Ben, Chelsea, Lauren - Ryan and Nicholas - Hayley and Brandon, and great-grandnephew Raphaël. He was predeceased by his mother Janet, and brother Hugh. In his early years, Bruce attended John Black Memorial Presbyterian Church, where he taught Sunday School as well as Cubs and Scouts for many years. He was an active member of St. Lukes Anglican Parish for the last 50 years, acting in many endeavours. After years of holding different positions in the Finance Department, he retired from the City of Winnipeg following many dedicated years of service. Please join us for a celebration of Bruce's life at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12 at the Anglican Parish of St. Lukes at the corner of Nassau and Stradbrook.
