KENNETH ALLAN MACKIE May 6, 1960 - June 19, 2018 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Ken Mackie (age 58), surrounded by his family, on June 19, 2018 at the Grace Hospital. Ken was born on May 6, 1960 in Winnipeg where he resided. Ken suffered a severe heart attack in March 2017 which drew many challenges in everyday life, but Ken was a fighter. He is deeply missed and survived by his daughter Chantelle whom he cherished, his (ex-wife) Michelle, brothers and sisters, Trina, Linda, Leonard (Kelly), Gary (Georgina), Robert (Coba), Timothy (Carol Ann), Michael (Donna) and Lori (Allan) along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, mother, and brothers, Myron and Wayne. Ken had a great passion for listening to music, eating good food and the occasional fine scotch. He was often a joker, personable, liked to have fun and could always put a smile on your face. He was a very intelligent man and worked most of his career in sales which he excelled. He loved to spend time with his daughter - cooking, going to movies and was a great life coach. Ken left a mark on this world and will be forever missed. We would like to thank the doctors and staff of St. Boniface Hospital for all of their care and support to Ken and his family. Cremation has taken place by Neil Bardal Funeral Centre. A private memorial service / interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ken's memory to a charity of your choice.
