BERNARD BARIL December 30, 1948 - July 6, 2018 Peacefully on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Victoria Hospital, surrounded by his family, Bernard (Barney) passed away at the age of 69 years old. Barney will be sadly missed by his wife, Bibiane, children, Daniel (Stacey), Michelle (Mike) and Norman (Holly), stepchildren, Michel, Roxanne (Michel), Dominique (Serge), and also by his grandchildren, Demi, Brody, Ava, Parker and Sadie. He is survived by his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by his parents, Pierre and Graziella. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Cancer Care Unit in Steinbach and in Winnipeg. Heard Your Voice In the Wind Today I heard your voice in the wind today and I turned to see your face; The warmth of the wind caressed me as I stood silently in place. I felt your touch in the sun today as its warmth filled the sky; I closed my eyes for your embrace and my spirit soared high. I saw your eyes in the window pane as I watched the falling rain; It seemed as each raindrop fell it quietly said your name. I held you close in my heart today it made me feel complete; You may have died...but you are not gone you will always be a part of me. As long as the sun shines... the wind blows... the rain falls... You will live on inside of me forever for that is all my heart knows. Anonymous Arrangements entrusted to: Morris Funeral Home 204-746-2451 www.morrisfuneralhome.ca

  • Dear Dan, Norm, Michelle, Bibiane and all the Baril clan. The absolute best memories of my working career came from working for years every spring and fall with/for Barney on his farm. Even the hottest days shovelling itchy flax pouring in from the auger into an old wooden grainery were Awesome because I was doing it for a great, patient, funny, mentor, trainer, jokester we All loved. Nothing ever felt like 'work' when it was for Barney. I saw his family grow from 1 to 3 amazing kids and enjoyed the many meals in the fields or at their home. Rest in Peace my friend. - Posted by: Guy Dorge (Cousin) on: Jul 10, 2018
