• My heart is broken, I'm filled with sorrow for the entire family. I remember when Ben was born, the pride of the family! I think Ben was the 2nd baby I had ever held in my life, I remember thinking it was so cool that my best buddy was an auntie when we were still so young. I will always remember Ben's quiet demeanor and kind ways, when I saw him, he always made a point of making conversation and asking how I was, such rare qualities in many youth. • The hockey community has lost another hard working soldier at a young age. Ben, you're the guy that brought me up when I was down, made me laugh when I needed to laugh, and smartened me up when I was being stupid, and had my back no matter what on and off the ice. I will always remember our talks on the bus, and the way you opened my mind up my man, you're going to be truly forgotten, love yah kid.
