BERNICE CHICK Our aunt peacefully passed away on July 12, 2018 at the Charleswood Care Centre at the age of 91. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Bernice had a close relationship with her niece and nephews throughout her life. She was the family historian, others may turn to ancestory.com but we turned to auntie.com. In later years her great-nephew and nieces benefited from stories of her early family life and her perspective of life today. Talking to others about life in days gone by brought her much joy. Her stories will be missed but will remain in our hearts forever. A final "Royal Wave", Auntie Bernice. At Bernice's request there will be no funeral service. Bernice was my supervisor and friend. She was fair and after she retired, another friend and I met Bernice for coffee once a month. Many times we discussed world problems and she had many reasons why things were the way they were. We three had many good laughs together. Then I moved from Winnipeg and often thought of her. Yes, Rest In Peace Bernice. What a wonderful lady. - Posted by: Vicky Beauregard (Friend) on: Jun 14, 2019
