ROCHELLE MARY JANE GAGNON April 8, 1959 - June 18, 2018 On Monday, June 18, 2018, Rochelle passed away comfortably at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre. Survived by Rochelle is her son Aaron (Alexie); her partner Arden; her siblings, Roch (Diane) and Camille (Peter); along with her nieces and nephews, Danielle, Josh (Rachel), Jesse (Jenny), Maidie (Mike), Josiah and Tristan (Kaela). Rochelle was predeceased by her parents, Arthur Gagnon and Lorette Vaillancourt, and her niece Michelle. Aside from her family, Rochelle treasured quality time with close friends, Guy, Brenda and Roseanne. A special thanks goes out to the staff at both the Health Sciences Centre and Mosaic Funeral Services, along with the caring family and friends for their continued care and support. Rochelle cherished floral gardening and her daily walks, wherever she called home. Mom also enjoyed practicing her artwork and supporting all of her son's, nieces' and nephews' academic and athletic pursuits. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28 at the Norwood Hotel. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rochelle's memory can be made to the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba.

  • Rochelle was a good friend, neighbour, which I met in 2004 with her partner Arden Dale. Rochelle was always full of life and fun. Loved dancing, nature, animals. Always seemed to feel sorry for the down and out or the less fortunate. Loved and was proud of her son Aaron. Loved the Blue Spruces in the back of Berrydale and wanted to be remembered there. She will be sadly missed along with Arden as they both passed 2 months apart. The Lord works in misterious ways. Day doesn’t go by that I don’t think of my neighbours.   • I was deeply saddened to hear of Rochelles passing. I spoke with her last in February and she was thinking of coming down to Shebandowan this summer for a visit and to get together and paint.
